I'm Fatima, the heart and hands behind Golden Spine Studio.

My love for books began at an early age. I started by collecting them, filling my own diaries, and discovering the joy of capturing stories, thoughts, and memories on paper. Over time, this passion led me to scrapbooking - and eventually to creating my own books and Junk Journals.

The combination of old books, beautiful fabrics, and unique papers quickly captured my heart. Each piece I create is one of a kind, crafted with car and attention to detail - but never perfect! I was especially inspired by the idea of merging the flexibility of a Traveler's Notebook with the distinctive charm of a Junk Journal - and from this vision, my personal creations were born.

Because books are more than just pages and words - they are carriers of memories, emotions, and inspiration. 

As Ovid wrote in his Metamorphoses: "Omnia mutantur, nihil interit" - "Everything changes, nothing perishes"
